FAQs
Joining Rally
How do I get my child into a class?
Start by filling out the information request form to join our mailing list. Meet & Greets run seasonally, and we notify mailing-list families when the schedule is posted. After that, your coach recommends a class and you'll get either a $99 two-week trial invite or a spot on the waitlist if the class is full.
What's the difference between the mailing list and the waitlist?
The mailing list is for families who haven't had a Meet & Greet yet. It's how you hear about new Meet & Greet openings. The waitlist is for families who have completed a Meet & Greet and are waiting for a spot in a specific recommended class.
What happens at a Meet & Greet?
It's a short visit where your child plays with a coach while we get a feel for their personality and learning style. It doesn't guarantee a spot, but it helps us place your child somewhere they'll thrive.
When do new Meet & Greets open?
Meet & Greets happen seasonally, two to three times a year. We post the schedule and notify everyone on the mailing list when it opens. Spots fill quickly, so watch your inbox.
How do you decide which class my child is in?
Placement is by age and stage, plus what your coach sees at the Meet & Greet. Toddlers through kindergarten train at Laurel Street and school-aged kids train at El Camino Real. We don't move students between levels mid-year.
Can I see the class schedule?
Our classes are built around small cohorts of kids who learn in similar ways, so the schedule shifts a little as spots open. After your Meet & Greet, your coach will send the class options that fit your child.
Cost & membership
How much does it cost?
Membership is $249 per month, paid in nine equal payments from September to May. That covers 33 classes plus the June performance. The two-week trial is $99 and includes a Rally T-shirt and an Achieve Sleeve.
What's the class size?
Laurel Street classes run at 4 kids to 1 coach. El Camino Real classes run at 6 kids to 1 coach.
Do you offer make-up classes?
No. Because each cohort only has one or two sections and we protect our small ratios, we can't add make-ups without overcrowding a class.
Can I watch my child's class?
Yes. Both gyms have a viewing area and grown-ups are welcome.
BYOB toddler classes
What is BYOB?
BYOB (Bring Your Own Baby) is our drop-in, grown-up-and-me gymnastics class for toddlers who love to move. Come move, explore and get the wiggles out together. It's a drop-in, not a trial, so there's no enrollment or long-term commitment.
Do I need a membership for BYOB?
No. BYOB is pay-per-class and your first class is $25. Checking out creates your Rally family account, so you can see and manage bookings in the family portal.
What ages is BYOB for?
Toddlers from 18 months to 3½ years. Classes run weekday mornings at Laurel Street in four groups: 18–24 months, 24–36 months, 36+ months, and mixed ages (perfect for siblings). Every class caps at 6 toddlers.
Do grown-ups participate?
Yes. Caregivers take part the whole class, which builds your child's confidence and trust. Wear clothes you can move in.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable athletic clothes. Bare feet are best for safety and grip on the mats.
What if my child just wants to watch?
That's completely normal. Many children start by watching before they jump in. With just 6 children per class, coaches can meet each child where they are, and kids are welcome to watch, join in, rest and re-join whenever they're ready. Coaches support different sensory needs and learning styles.
When is my child ready for a class on their own?
Your coach will let you know when your child shows they're ready for an independent class and will give you personal guidance. There's no timeline or pressure. Readiness looks different for every child.
How do I reschedule or cancel a BYOB class?
Reschedule or cancel from your family account up to 2 hours before class, and the class goes back to your account. We don't offer refunds or make-ups.
How much is BYOB?
Your first class is $25. After that, a single class is $35, a 5-pack is $150, and 30-day unlimited is $249 (unlimited classes for 30 days from your first class; not a membership, it simply ends).
